New Board Member and Board Roles
As Good Shepherd Academy evolves and expands, so too is the Board of Directors of Good Shepherd SLF.
Join me in welcoming Christina Kales to the Board. Christina brings a wealth of nonprofit experience having served as Executive Director of the NJ Healthcare Facilities Financing Authority and as Policy Analyst for the NJ Schools Development Authority. Christina has spearheaded a host of Do It Yourself Fundraising Activities in her parish, St. Matthew’s, Pennington, NJ to raise awareness and funds for Good Shepherd Academy. Stay tuned for more information on the creative ways she is bringing Cameroon and JMGSA to life here in the US.
Brenda Ruello is moving to a new role as Co-Founder and Vice-Chair Emeritus. Without Brenda’s ceaseless dedication, vision, and hard work Good Shepherd Academy simply would not be where it is today. Her wisdom and guidance have been invaluable as Good Shepherd SLF has grown from an idea to a vibrant reality. The good news is Brenda isn’t going anywhere! She will still be dreaming, advising, moving and shaking for Good Shepherd Academy in her new role, with our deep appreciation.
Dr. Nche Zama will now serve as Vice-Chair of the Board, a role he is particularly suited for as a Cameroonian born, Western educated PhD, MD.
His vision for what can be for the children of Cameroon and how to attain it, guides our every decision as we move forward. We are indeed blessed to have him serve in this new role.
