Lawrence Ngwa Kongoh

Lawrence holds a Civil Engineering degree from the National Polytechnic Institute. With ten years of engineering experience, he has worked consistently at Good Shepherd Home in Bamenda, Cameroon as a volunteer. Lawrence is thrilled to be working closely with the international non-profit architectural firm of MSAADA Architects.

Secondary school in Cameroon is not mandatory resulting in a large gap between school capacity and the number of potential students. You can help change that!

EDUCATION yields a larger impact than ANY other form of help or aid we can give to improving health, raising income, promoting gender equality, and reducing overall poverty.

For every year a child goes to school, HIV rates decrease, income potential and employment rates increase, girls marry later, early pregnancies decrease, and health is elevated for the entire family.

In Cameroon there is only one teacher for every 45.6 primary school students. In SECONDARY SCHOOL the number increases to nearly 100 STUDENTS PER TEACHER.
