Brenda Ruello was an executive search recruiter with Heidrick and Struggles, a prominent international firm specializing in senior management searches. As the first woman partner, she was elected to the Board of Directors, served on the Compensation Committee and was Co-Manager of the New York office. Prior to working at Heidrick and Struggles, Brenda was an international recruiter with Booz-Allen Hamilton and Peat Marwick Mitchell.

After retiring from H&S, she opened, owned and managed two successful businesses, one in New York City and another on Fire Island.

Brenda has extensive fundraising experience with schools and non-profit organizations including Brandeis University Library, Horace Mann School, Proctor Academy, Financial Women’s Association, Women’s Forum, and the Delaware Highlands Conservancy. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University.
