Manager of Performance Based Financing Project, NW Region

Dr. Shu Walters Che, MD, MPH, was born March 7, 1966 in Bafut Village, Mezam Division in the North West Region of the Republic of Cameroon. He graduated from Government High School Wum and CCAST Bambili. He is a 1992 graduate of the Medical School in Yaounde, Cameroon and received a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Buea in 2011. Dr. Shu is a General Practitioner of medicine who has served in many hospitals and administrative positions in the Cameroonian health system. He is currently serving as Manager of the Performance Based Financing Project in the North West Region of Cameroon.

Dr. Shu is proud to call Sister Jane Mankaa his older sister. He is deeply committed to continuing her vision and legacy by serving on the Board of Governors of Good Shepherd Academy Association and working with Good Shepherd Home for Children in Bamenda.
